'A London Essential' (Trip Advisor review)

Our tour with Real London Tours was perfect. Our guide, Rob, was intelligent, interesting and friendly. None of the same old tour spiel here! These private walking tours really are the best way to see the city. Rob gave us lots of recommendations and a valuable Londoner's perspective. These tours give a great overview and you can always go back to anything by yourself for a closer look. We travelled with two little girls (4 & 5) and two teens (14 & 20). Rob made the tour interesting for all of us and kept the pace suitable for the little ones. They managed to walk a very long way! Real London Tours are professional, personal and friendly. I can't recommend them highly enough!

'Best Intro to London' (Trip Advisor review)

One tour guide per group. Our group was two people, and we had a wonderful tour geared towards our stated interests. Rob, our guide, was personable and knowledgable, and took us to places and sites we loved and would have missed without him. Even after the 7 hour walking tour, when we had a question, an email to Rob gave us a response within 24 hours that was full of great information and insights. Can't say enough about this tour.

The tour was excellent!! The time spent with Joe was the highlight of our short trip! The goal of your tour was definitely achieved. We both felt that Joe was extremely personable. He even went part way with us on the Underground as we headed to the Tower of London (he also provided great instructions on how to use the Underground once we were on our own). The orientation to London was done so well that we were able to retrace some of our steps the following day! This was my mom's first time out of the country and having Joe show us around helped her to feel very comfortable. We are currently in Rome and we wish we had set up a tour similar to Real London Tours. I plan to recommend your company to anyone who plans to go to London. I may also have to check out your tour company in New York! Best, Ericka

In May 2011, my mother and I spend two days in London. Due to our short trip, we wanted a good overview of the city. We could have done a hop on and off bus tour but we wanted something more personal. Our hope was to see both major tourist attractions but also get a picture of what life would be like to live in London. Our goals were achieved with Real London Tours.

Our first interaction with Real London Tours was with Nathan. He was extremely friendly and helpful in taking our reservation and making sure he knew our interests for the tour. We took the Quick Smoke Tour and our tour guide was Joe. He made sure that we saw the sights we were interested in. My mom and I both left with the feeling that Joe went over and beyond as a tour guide (we felt even more so when we compared him to some of our other tour guides in other countries). Joe was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. We loved getting a little glance into his experience of living in London, as it related to the places we visited. We learned so much during this tour and it was the highlight of our time in London.

Real London Tours provides small private tours. Some people may be concerned about the cost of private tours but I will tell you that this tour is worth it. If you are planning a trip to London, make sure you check out the tours offered by Real London Tours. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
