Joe Morris
Hello to all! My name is Joe Morris. I am a Londoner
born and bred. I come from Greenwich, South East
London and love showing visitors the hidden gems of
our unique Capital.
London has been a huge part of my life. Since the
age of eleven I’ve always had this fascination for
the City, my Grandad was a big inspiration. He would
tell me stories of London and its Kings and Queens,
Castles, Churches, Traitors, Wars, Disasters and
People. And from then on a lifetime passion had
begun and now it is my turn to pass on those
stories.
But its not just the History of London that
interests me. For the past couple of years the
creative hub of the city has inspired me and shown
me a new side of London that I never new was there.
East London has a fantastic array of Street Art and
Markets, while the Southbank always entertains me
with its Street Performers. London is a city for
everyone and everything.
As well as being a London Tour Guide I am also an
Actor and Historical Character Actor. I perform
Educational Presentations for young people to
encourage them for a greater future and a better
quality of life. I also work in Kent where I dress
up in Victorian Attire and tell stories to adults
and children about life in the 19th
Century! From Sweeney Todd to Jack the Ripper,
nothing is left out!
There is only one thing you need to know about
London:
“When A Man Is Tired Of London He Is Tired Of Life”

Dr. Samuel Johnson

Rob Witcomb
Originally from the Lake District, via Argentina,
Hong Kong and Italy, I arrived in London as
something of a country boy. As an actor, I was aware
of the importance of being based in England's
capital city but feared its dense landscape and a
perceived lack of community, favouring a more rural
setting. In short, the sheer magnitude of London as
a city was daunting.
To combat this, I set about exploring not only the
more obvious sights London has to offer, but also
its less well known areas. In every work of art,
building, bridge and monument I discovered a rich
history and heritage and that London was a city
shrouded in 2000 years of fascinating history. This
history had been affected by centuries of monarchy,
religion, war, trade and innovation that began with
the Romans right the way to the present day.
By unpicking these blankets of history I have
developed a greater understanding of London and why
it is such an important capital city. From ancient
Roman baths and roads; to monastic dwellings and
cathedrals; to royal palaces and castles; to the
Houses of Parliament and Big Ben right up to bold
choices such as the Millenium bridge and the London
eye, London has constantly reinvented itself. It
has survived at the forefront of social and
political change and all the while preserved a sense
of character often found hidden away in its many
side streets, parks and, of course, through
its charismatic inhabitants.
A graduate of Art History & English from St Andrews
University, I am tremendously excited to be able to
show you the real London. A London I now proudly
call my home and a London steeped in culture,
innovation, history & character.

Nathan Cassidy
Helped start Real New York Tours with Luke Miller and now
manages Real
London Tours
The way this company has grown for
Luke in New York in the last few years has been truly wonderful
to see - I knew it was a great idea, but I could
never have predicted how much people have loved the
Real Tours in New York. It's all about the
people - Luke and the team he has built up in New
York are outstanding - and this was my challenge as we
sought to grow the business in London - to try to
find a group of equally amazing individuals - and I
know I've pulled it off. The guides I work with are some of the most interesting,
engaging, knowledgeable and fun people you will ever
meet. Whoever hosts your
tour you will have a unforgettable
experience - that's
what this company's success is built upon -
incredible
tours that you'll never forget.I
have lived in London for all my adult life, in
various places in east London and am now in Dalston,
just north of Shoreditch (Dalston is the new
Shoreditch!).
In 2006, inspired by the rare sight after
the 2005 London bombings of everyone out on the
streets talking to each other, I spent a year
attempting to invite the whole of London to a party
in Hyde Park, purely by word of mouth. The
journey and results were filmed for a documentary
feature film, 'My London Party'. There's a
clip
here.
Today I split my time between this business and
being a pro stand-up comedian in the UK.
I am so happy to be able to continue
my love of London and its people into this new
strand of the company. I hope you can join us
in London and please get in touch with me any time

Luke Miller
The founder of Real Tours
(if he's London, you may see him on your tour!)
Hey fellow world travellers. My name is Luke
and I am proud to be a born and bred New Yorker! My
life as a New Yorker has shaped so much of who I am
today: how I walk, talk, what I eat, how I eat it,
how I think, feel, and interact with people. I can't
help but feel that when I share New York with folks
that I am somehow sharing a part of myself as well.
Even as a child my fascination for New York's
history and mysteries were evident. As a teenage
boy I explored the abandoned train stations of the
subway, searched for old hidden caves in Central
Park and had my head buried in books about the
history of my beloved New York City. For the last
five years I have shared my knowledge and personal
experiences with thousands of tourists from around
the world. Three years ago I formed my own company
"Real New York Tours" and we have taken off to be
one of the top rated companies in NYC.
In many ways my life has been as diverse as the city
I've grown up in. Doing tours is just one of the
many great jobs I have had throughout the years. For
8 years I worked for the non-profit organization
"God's Love We Deliver," which delivers hot meals to
homebound people with AIDS throughout the five
boroughs of NYC. My work there was documented on
MTV's World AIDS Day Special. I also spent 5 years
working as a volunteer in Sloan Kettering's
pediatric cancer Ward, entertaining children. This
became one of the great gifts in my life that I
carry close to my heart.
In 1998 a bunch of friends and I created the
off-Broadway sensation, "The Donkey Show", a
seventies disco version of Shakespeare's Mid-Summer
Nights Dream which had an amazing 8 year run in NYC,
and also ran in London, Scotland, and France for two
years. It was during this time that I also met my
beautiful wife Amber, who just happens to be a Radio
City Rockette. Oh yeah!! Life is good.
Much of my life has been dedicated to music. In my
teenage years I played with a band called Paleface,
which opened for bands including The Clash, The
Ramones, Lords of The New Church and The Fix. My
latest band Pale Moon Gang released their debut
album recently, and you can catch our songs and
videos at myspace.com/palemoongang.
I fell in love with London during my year
spent there in 2001 and I know you'll feel the same
when you walk the streets with Real London Tours.

Ellen Jakubiel
Pulling the strings
Hi everyone, I'm Ellen and I might be the
first person you speak to if you phone up for a
tour. If you hear children in the background,
that will be either my son George or my daughter
Millie.
This truly is a family business!
I met Luke back in 2000 when I was in the West End
musical 'The Donkey
Show' with him, and it's fantastic to be part of the
business which Luke and Nathan set up - I
remember the day well when Nathan said he was going
to shoot a video of Luke on a side street in
Manhattan and get things moving. How far it has come!
Have a great time in London and I know
you'll enjoy your tour - get in touch with me at
office@reallondontours.com and I will be able to answer any
questions you might have.
Happy travelling!
